Britain’s Got Talent’s Bruno Tonioli was moved to tears by an incredible audition during Saturday night’s show.

Judges Bruno, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Simon Cowell were greeted with purple curtains covering the act on stage.

As the curtains parted, a fabulous drag queen called Jasmine Rice from New York appeared, delivering an incredible rendition of Nessun Dorma.

After the stunning opera audition, Bruno said: ‘You really are an opera queen. You look stunning. For me, it was wonderful.’

‘You moved Bruno to tears,’ Amanda said before Bruno confirmed: ‘I was crying.’

Alesha commented: ‘That’s how you put on a show. You look incredible, your vocals were fantastic. There was nothing to not like about this act. Well done.’

Amanda added: ‘What an entrance, what a stunning voice, you look incredible, and I need to know who’s made the frock as well.’

‘I did,’ Jasmine replied.

Amanda gasped as the audience broke into applause. She continued: ‘I was blown away by that and it was very unexpected. So the surprise was joyous, amazing.’

Simon asked: ‘Tell me, why did you come on the show?’

Jasmine replied: ‘I was getting a lot of rejection because of how I presented myself, especially in the opera world. Being feminine and being fierce is not really taken with embrace.’

Simon continued: ‘So you thought here it would be the opposite?’ before Jasmine simply replied, ‘yes.’

‘Well, I have to tell you, the opera world can be really snobby, but I don’t know, there was something special about that, so you’ve found your home,’ Simon said.

It was then time for the judges to make their final decision on whether Jasmine would make it through to the next round.

Revealing their reason for sighing up to the audition, Jasmine said: 'I was getting a lot of rejection because of how I presented myself, especially in the opera world. Being feminine and being fierce is not really taken with embrace'
